Interpretation

USAACE Reg 95-2 adds paragraph 1-2 AJ: Aircraft conducting VFR cross-country flights within Cairns ARAC airspace at or above 2,000 feet MSL shall attempt to obtain flight following from Cairns ARAC. Contact is not required before passing 1,500 feet MSL, but aircraft planning to cruise at or above 2,000 feet MSL shall establish ATC contact as soon as practicable.
