Interpretation

A refilled hole is located on the south side of the RWY 08/26 strip, approximately 270 m from the threshold, marked by a white-painted tyre protruding one inch above ground. Two additional unmarked refilled holes are south of the RWY 08/26 strip, four metres from the runway edge and approximately 530 m from the RWY 08 threshold. Conditions are monitored and must be reported to the Fua'amotu AIS Briefing Office one hour before the estimated off-block time of any scheduled aircraft operation at NFTO.
