Interpretation

Departing traffic from uncontrolled aerodromes without AFIS within the OEJD FIR requires prior permission. In accordance with AIP ENR 2.1, pilots must contact Jeddah ACC on an available frequency or by telephone at 00966126150018 or 00966126150019, available H24, to obtain ATC clearance. Operations without the required ATC clearance are not authorized.
