Interpretation

IFR takeoff minimums and obstacle departure procedures for Runway 17R are changed. The omnidirectional departure is standard with a DER crossing height of 16 ft AGL (1,627 ft MSL). In the authorized clockwise sector from 120° through 070°, cross the DER at or above that height, climb on heading 173° to 2,100 ft, then proceed on course. Departures in the clockwise sector from 070° to 120° are not authorized. Several terrain obstacles are identified at or near the DER, primarily right of the extended centerline, with elevations up to 1,627 ft MSL.
