Interpretation

Effective 1 October 2026, Phase 1 runway construction is in progress at Hualien Airport. RWY 03/21 closure periods will be announced by NOTAM; outside those periods, the runway is open with reduced-length operations. For the temporary LDA RWY 21 instrument approach chart, the profile-view FAF altitude is changed from 2,460 ft to 2,300 ft.
